The Planning and Zoning administrator assists property owners, potential purchasers and developers with questions regarding Township zoning and regulatory ordinances, and requests clarifying information from the township planner. The administrator accepts applications and associated fees for property rezoning, commercial and industrial site plan reviews, special land use requests, variance requests, and schedules and publishes public hearings and other meetings as required. This information is forwarded to our township professionals (Planner, Engineer, Fire Marshal and Attorney) and the administrator ensures their reviews are shared back with the applicant prior to scheduled Planning Commission meetings. The Administrator takes the minutes of Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals meetings and provides documents from Commission and ZBA decisions to the Township Board for final approvals.
