NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWNSHIP OF ARMADA
TEXT AMENDMENT
NOTICE IS HEARBY GIVEN, pursuant to Public Act 110 of 2006, as amended, that a public hearing will be held by the Armada Township Planning Commission at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, June 17th, 2026, at the Armada Township Hall, 23121 East Main Street, Armada, MI 48005.
The public hearing is to consider a text amendment for various sections of the Armada Township Zoning Ordinance including; Sections 2.05 Appearance, 2.14 Fence, Wall and other Protective Barriers, 2.23 Open Space and Farmland Communities, 2.37 Entry Ways, 5.00 Intent, 5.01 Screening Requirements, 5.02 Landscaping Requirements, 5.03 Plant Material Sizes, 5.04 Exterior lighting, 5.05 Performance Standards, 5.06 Trash Receptacles, and new standards for a development impact report and the entirety of Article 6 Off-Street Parking and Loading Requirements (including changes to off-street parking lots, stacking spaces, and loading spaces.)
This meeting is open to the public. Anyone wishing to comment on this item but is unable to attend the meeting may send their comments in writing to – Armada Township, Planning Commission, 23121 East Main Street, Armada MI 48005. Written public comments need to be submitted by Wednesday June 17, 2026, at 3 pm. A copy of the text amendment is available at the Armada Township Hall between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The Township Hall number is 586-784-5200.
