The township election commission is in charge of all township elections. The clerk, supervisor and treasurer constitute the election commission members. The clerk is the chairperson of the election commission.
Responsibilities of the election commission include but not limited to:
Early Voting will be held at the Armada Senior Center, 75400 North Avenue, Armada, MI 48005 for Precinct 1 and Precinct 2 on the following dates and times listed below:
Saturday, July 25 – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Sunday, July 26 – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Monday, July 27 – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Tuesday, July 28 – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

To the Qualified Electors: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the PRIMARY ELECTION will be held in the Township of Armada, County of Macomb, State of Michigan on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at the places of holding the Election in said township as indicated below.

EARLY VOTING SITE FOR PRECINCT 1 AND PRECINCT 2: Located at Armada Senior Center, 75400 North Avenue, Armada, MI. DATES AND TIMES FOR EARLY VOTING ONLY: Saturday July 25 through Sunday August 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
All precincts are handicap accessible. Voting instructions are available in alternative formats. Contact your Clerk’s office for details. Please note that you will be asked to show ID when you check in. If you don’t have one, you can still vote but will need to sign an affidavit of identity form if you do not have picture identification with you.
Accepted forms of identification: Michigan driver’s license or state ID, driver’s license or personal identification card issued by another state, federal or state government-issued photo identification, U.S. passport, Military ID with photo, student identification with photo from a high school or accredited institution of higher learning, Tribal identification card with photo.
AUGUST 4, 2026 – ELECTION DAY: THE POLLS of said election will be open at 7:00 a.m. and will remain open until 8:00 p.m. of said day of election.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that you will be voting on nominating candidates for the offices of: Governor, United States Senator, Representative in Congress 9th District, United State Senator, Representative in State Legislature 65th District, County Executive, County Commissioner 1st District, Judge of Circuit Court 16th Circuit, Delegate to County Convention.
Please note that the Township of Armada will be open to the public Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to process absentee ballot requests ONLY. Friday, July 31st is the last day an absent voter ballot can be mailed via First Class mail. On Monday, August 3 absentee ballots must be voted in person at the clerk’s office up until 4:00 p.m.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the appointment of election inspectors and the Public Accuracy Test for Early Voting and the August 4, 2026 Primary Election has been scheduled for Thursday, July 9 at 10 a.m. at Armada Township, 23121 E. Main, Armada, Michigan 48005.
The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate that the program and computers that will be used to tabulate the results of the election counts the votes in the manner prescribed by law.
TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF ARMADA TOWNSHIP:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that any qualified elector of Armada Township who is not already registered, may register to vote at the office of the Township Clerk; the office of the County Clerk; a Secretary of State branch office, other designated state agency, or www.michigan.gov/sos.
The last day to register in any manner (mail or online) other than in-person with the local clerk is MONDAY, JULY 20, 2026.
After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.492) at the Armada Township Clerk’s office, located at 23121 E. Main, Armada, MI 48005 at the following times:
